so, what does this mean for you?
Currently there is a lot in the news about our health care system being in crisis and struggling to cope with the increased demand and lack of funding. Resources are being streched to their limit.
Getting older is inevitable, but whilst we can't stop the ageing process we can grow old gracefully and help maintain our own and loved ones' independence and well being into later life.
This all might seem a long way off and you might be thinking that it does not affect you, but do you have parents or relatives that are over 65 now or will be in a few years time...?
did you know?
1 in 3 people over 65 suffer a fall each year?
Falls are the leading cause of injury-deaths
But... 1 in 3 falls are preventable.*
