4. information on funeral funding option, advice line and wills service

Your existing over 50s life cover is already helping you plan for the future, but did you know about the funeral funding option which is available as a FREE addition to your plan and could make the financial arrangements for your funeral much simpler?

We have teamed up with The Co-operative Funeralcare (the UK’s leading funeral provider), to allow you to arrange a payment to be made directly from your policy proceeds towards your funeral costs.  To do this you simply need to apply a Legal Charge to your policy, it costs you nothing, but it means that providing the policy has been in place for a minimum of 2 years, a payment will be made directly to the Funeral Director at the time of settling the funeral bill.  Please remember this is not a funeral plan and would not necessarily meet the full cost of a funeral

If you do legally charge your policy to The Co-Operative Funeralcare they will make a £250 Contribution towards the cost of your funeral provided it is arranged through one of The Co-operative Funeralcare Funeral Homes, another participating Co-operative Society or an affiliated Funeral Director.

Full details about this option can be found on the funeral funding option pages.
