Our Equity ISA gives you a choice of two stock market based funds to invest your
tax efficient savings: the engage Investment Growth Fund and the
engage High Income Fund.
The choice is yours...
engage Investment Growth Fund
This fund aims to match the performance of the FTSE® 100 Index and grow your savings
over the medium to long term (e.g. at least 5 years). It invests in shares of companies
listed on the FTSE® 100 Index in the UK.
engage High Income Fund
This fund pays you a regular income and it invests in gilts, corporate bonds and
similar types of securities listed on the UK or EU stock markets. This means that
the fund is lower risk than the growth fund, however it also means that the potential
for growth will tend to be lower.
The engage High Income Fund also gives you the option to re-invest
the income back into your ISA which will provide a higher return than if the income
is taken.
You can choose to invest in one or both of the funds and switch between funds for
greater flexibility.
Both funds have the potential to out perform bank or building society deposit accounts.
However, you should bear in mind that in a bank or building society deposit account
your savings are easily accessible and secure. In contrast the value of a stock
market based investment can drop below the amount paid in. If you were to cash in
at such a time, you would get back less than has been invested. You regard them
as a medium to long term investment.
