As you might expect, we regard the way we reward people to be more than simply the monthly pay cheque. Reward to us is about salary, bonus and the benefits that someone can enjoy as an employee of engage Mutual Assurance. In the last twelve months alone, we have taken some significant steps to develop the remuneration package available to staff, introducing initiatives such as:

  • Paying for performance – We are committed to paying people what they are worth, if you can perform your role at the level we expect, then you will be rewarded accordingly.
  • Recognition Schemes – our “RSVP”, Recognising Success, Valuing People scheme pays up to £1000 for the top award, with employees being able to nominate their peers for any of the awards available.
  • Salary Sacrifice schemes, including Child Care Vouchers, and Give as You Earn.
  • We have enabled staff to purchase additional holidays – taking everyone’s entitlement up to a potential 30 days per annum.
  • Bonus scheme changes result in annual payments being directly linked to the performance of the individual and the organisation. So when the organisation does well, the bonus payments will also be better.

We are not sitting still with our reward strategy and will continue to develop it to ensure that employment at engage Mutual Assurance, is modern, contemporary and in tune with the market place.
