Local firm engage Mutual Assurance, has donated their winners cheque to charity after winning the inaugural Business League Cricket Trophy.

Saint Michael's Hospice was the chosen beneficiary of £250, after engage defeated Barber Titleys in the final at Harrogate Cricket Club on Sunday 7 August.
Members of the engage cricket team made the presentation to fundraisers Lucy Gill and David Archbold at Saint Michael's Hospice, who were delighted to receive the cheque. Christine Norton, Fundraising Manager said: "engage are tremendously supportive in so many ways, and have made a huge difference to Saint Michael's this year in particular."
Chief Executive of engage Mutual Assurance, Andrew Haigh, commented: "We are delighted to support St Michael's Hospice, our neighbour and local charity partner. The engage team has performed well in this competition and we are pleased that their hard work has paid off."
The competition was played in the new Twenty20 format, with music, bouncy castles and a barbeque on offer on finals day. Harrogate Borough Council and Kafe Vend were the two other teams which took part in this year's local tournament.
