what is our customer panel?

We launched our customer panel in 2006 to give our customers an opportunity to have their say. Everyone has a right to be heard, and the panel gives customers a direct way of getting their views across. Listening to our customers is extremely important to us and the suggestions and feedback we get from you has a direct impact on the decisions we make.

Take a look at some of the many previous activities members of the customer panel have been involved in over the last few years.

we learn all sorts of helpful things

The Engage Mutual customer panel has around 1,500 members and is incredibly useful to us. The feedback we gain helps us develop our business in many different ways, and listening to our customer panel gives us valuable insights into how we can keep customers’ interests at the heart of what we do.

  • our customer panel members have helped improve our statements and website, and they’ve been involved in product development, service improvements and customer communications.

  • in December 2009, our customer panel members took part in usability testing on our new website and provided invaluable feedback into the design and content of the new site.

how you can help

There are many different ways you can be involved with the customer panel, including:
  • completing questionnaires or taking part in surveys by email, phone, post or face-to-face

  • reviewing our product information before it is printed

  • being part of a focus group

  • being a 'customer champion' - challenging our customer care practices

  • being an invited guest at special customer events.

All we ask is that you are one of our customers or have taken out a savings plan on behalf of a child.

If this is something you fancy getting involved in then you can join now!

Or, if you don’t want to join the customer panel there are plenty of other ways that you can get involved.  Visit our news and views section where there are lots of interesting articles, videos and polls which you can read and take part in, or simply send us your feedback online.
