Sharp reaps reward for flawless April
Jon Sharp is April's engage Coach of the Month - ironic to think that weeks earlier the Giants had lost seven games in a row..
Members of the Rugby League media voted overwhelming for the man who has guided his Giants side to a club record winning run and an immaculate month.
There had been no moaning about the busy Easter programme at the Galpharm Stadium. The Giants emphatically won 6 from 6 in April, tallying up 271 points in the process, with just 82 conceded. Stand out performances included home wins against Wakefield, Wigan and Harlequins where they surpassed 40 points in each.
Sharp added:
