Wellens voted best player for April
Paul Wellens can now add the engage Player of the Month Award for April, to his already overflowing trophy cabinet.
Wellens confirmed why he is the reigning Man of Steel with some towering performances over the busy Easter period. He tally up 8 tries in five games and picked up the Man of the Match award twice, most noticeably in the display against Catalans where he scored 4 tries as well as a brace away at Harlequins RL.
On receiving the award, Paul said "
“I'd just like to thank engage for the recognition and all the members of the Rugby League media who voted. It was a good month for the boys apart from the slip up at Headingley, but we have kicked on since then.”
“Personally, it's always nice to get over for a few tries, and I thank the lads for putting me in the position to score them”
