Chief Executive Andrew Haigh with prize draw winner, Mr Frank Hoyle, and our mascot, Sid the Savings Pig.
This year's event saw an increase in attendees as we welcomed a number of new faces, some from the Harrogate area and others from further afield. But we also said "hello again" to some familiar faces, who had made an early start and travelled in some cases from Manchester, Grimsby, Nottingham and Castleford. It was great to catch up with one of our customers for whom this was their 9th AGM!
Our mascot, Sid the Savings Pig, made an appearance after lunch to the delight of guests, some of whom had their pictures taken with him. Meanwhile, Chief Executive Andrew Haigh presented the prize draw winner, Mr Frank Hoyle from Burley-in-Wharfedale, with four tickets to the engage Super League Grand Final being held at Old Trafford, Manchester on Saturday 10 October 2009.
thank you for helping us make a donation to charity
As in 2008, we have made a 10p donation to charity for every valid postal vote returned and a £2 donation for each member who attended the AGM.
